On Thursday September 24th, ORCA will hold the inaugural meeting of our new Social Equity and Racial Justice [SERJ] Committee.  We hope you'll join us!

In response to the massive uprising we've seen here and around the country in recent months, we're deepening our commitment to fighting systemic injustices and ending discrimination.  It's more important than ever that we work hard to promote equity, justice, inclusion, and accountability.

That's why we're creating a platform within our association to help elevate the voices of our black and brown members, elevate issues of concern for communities of color (and any others disproportionately impacted by the failed war on drugs), and to initiate needed policy reforms.

We're building a vehicle to help grow political power for people of color in the cannabis industry, and to use that political capital however the committee sees fit.  The committee will have the benefit of ORCA staff available for guidance on policy matters and organizational support - but this will be an autonomous group led by its members, who will ultimately decide how to use that political power.

Zoom Link and details will be provided to registrants and members only,
so please RSVP today!
